Jef Verbeeck
Jef Verbeeck is a sound designer, technician and producer based in Antwerp, Belgium. For many years, he has been working in the alternative music and sound production scene in Belgium (for example with Durango, Traktor, Wawadadakwa and Boss Bellini). He founded his own studio, named Tin Pan Alley, and the experimental and anarchistic Sound Lab. Jef worked internationally as a live sound engineer for artists including John Cale, Umberto Tozzi and Prince. In the last ten years he became involved in theatre and dance productions. Recently he worked with theatre maker Wayn Traub (Maria Magdalena, Robo a Gogo, Petrus the roman-movie) and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Babel(words), Play, 4D, and Fractus V).
