Louise Michel Jackson was born in Canada in 1982. She received her initial training at the École Supérieure de Danse du Québec, in Montreal, Canada, graduating in 1999 before continuing with the Jeune Ballet du Quebec until 2002. She danced with Cas Public / Hélène Blackburn for four years. She presented her first co-choreographed work with Hanako Hoshimi-Caines, Little Bang Theory, involving Lhasa De Sela and Plants and Animals musicians at Pop Montreal in 2007, and again at Suoni del Popolo and OFF.T.A. in 2009. In 2008, she joined Rubberbandance Group/Victor Quijada, contributing to the development and touring of repertoire for three years. In 2010 she has worked as a freelance artist with Jacques Poulin-Denis, Sasha Kleinplatz, Milan Gervais, Laurel Koop and Sylvain Poirier, and participated in a laboratory with director Patrice Dubois and choreographer Caroline Laurin-Beaucage. In 2011, she performed in Montreal her first own solo Storm as a tribute to Lhasa de Sela, supervised by Pierre-Paul Savoie, and did a short dance movie Vive les Canadiennes directed by Joe Cobden.  In 2011 she worked in London for the  movie Anna Karenina, directed by Joe Wright in a choregraphy from Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and joined Eastman company in 2012 for Puz/zle.
