Hirotsugu Saegusa
Hirotsugu Saegusa was born in 1975 in Japan. He started dancing hiphop when he was 14 years old. When he was 18 he went to the US, where he studied capoeira at Capoeira Batuque. Five years later he returned to Japan where he turned to contemporary dance.
Hirotsugu Saegusa collaborated with Carmen Warner on The End and with Tami Dance Company on PEEPdance. He also made his own work. He created 00, TRICK, Beauty & The Beast and Towards the Future. After that he collaborated with Shintaro Hirahara & Mayumu Minakawa on a solo for himself. Next to that he danced in music videos and did the choreography for musicals, tvshows and commercials.
In 2012 he started working with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui as a replacer in TeZukA.
