Maryna Kushchova (Ashotivna) is a choreographer, performer and co-director from Ukraine. She started to explore dance when she was 4 years old. Growing up, she became acquainted with different forms of dance, from urban styles to contemporary dance. Maryna graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. In Ukraine she represents the unique art collective/dance company Apache Crew, which creates performances and films. 

Since 2022, Maryna dances with Eastman / Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, in Vlaemsch (chez moi), Nomad and in his opera stagings of Alceste and Hanjo. She is also featured in the Dom Pérignon x Lady Gaga commercial video, choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and directed by Woodkid. 

Maryna is a well-known choreographer, movement director and co-director in commercial projects since 2017. She also earned her stripes in the underground dance world and dance battle scene: she made it to the finals of the experimental dance event Open Your Mind, and performed as a waacking dancer in Waack it out. Maryna also took part in America’s Got Talent in 2019 with Freckled Sky. She is featured as a dancer in music videos by Rosalía, Florence + the Machine, Ed Sheeran, and others.
