After starting to dance in his hometown Teramo, Ottavio decided to move to Florence where he was accepted to study at the dance school Opus Ballet. After graduating, he entered the Opus Ballet company and started his professional career as a contemporary dancer. A few years later he wanted to explore more and gain knowledge about dance, so he decided to leave Italy. Since 2016 he has been living in Berlin and working around Europe as a professional contemporary dancer. In 2016, Ottavio danced with Eastman in the revivals of Das Rheingold and Siegfried by Guy Cassiers, with a choreography by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
